Retrofit of an existing 30-year old central plant with new MEP equipment. The work included demolition of the existing equipment and construction of a new, fully functional and code-compliant plant utilizing the existing site. Throughout construction, temporary cooling with portable chillers was provided to the facility complete with temporary piping, hoses, and electrical.
Cannon Building installed two new freezer rooms into an existing 33,280 SF Anheuser-Busch warehouse. The ambient temperature section of the Montclair distribution warehouse was converted into a controlled environment warehouse, with miscellaneous removals, relocations, and improvement.
The new plant was completely built to meet current seismic standards. Cannon Building performed planning, preconstruction, construction, startup, and commissioning services without interrupting hospital operations. The central plant houses administrative offices for facilities maintenance, and plant operations, including maintenance shops.
This project for Toyota Racing Development was a complete renovation of the existing concrete tilt-up building and creation of a high-tech, fully conditioned, racing engine manufacturing and assembly facility. The project included the installation of two 26,000 CMF air handlers with a York chiller, a digital BCMS system, and an emergency electrical power system.
The project consisted of an industrial manufacturing (FDA-approved) food processing and bottling facility. Thirty foot tall storage rooms have high pile racks for product fermentation processing, bottling, and packaging. Cannon Building installed new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, high-purity piping, fire suppression systems and rated demising walls and doors to support operations and comply with required codes. Cannon Building also constructed a 3,300 SF mezzanine office space overlooking the facility.
