Describe the last 10-15 years of your career in a snapshot.
After transitioning from a career in travel, I worked in sales and estimating for a construction equipment manufacturer for five years. In 2014, I began working in business development for Cannon Building collaborating with the Sales, Marketing & Estimating teams, moving the needs of the business forward.
Favorite building, structure, or architectural piece, and why?
I love the Alhambra, in Granada, Spain. It is an impressive structure set on a plateau with a spectacular view of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Its iconic style is characterized by frescoes, ornate columns, Moorish arches, water features, and ornamental tile walls that tell stories of its fascinating history dating back to the 9th century. Visiting the site with my history professor and fellow students, made it all the more unforgettable.
What recent innovation in any industry fascinates you, and why?
I think Nanobots that check your health are fascinating. This robotic technology monitors and cares for people’s health, deploying microscopic Nanobots into the body to scan and observe our internal organs, hunting and diagnosing various health problems.
You will find me working on a menu or culinary creation, treasure-hunting in one of my favorite haunts, keeping track of my beloved people, or traveling whenever the right opportunity arises.
