Cannon Building was awarded the contract to renovate a 1,200 SF cath lab and adjacent office area. The new cath lab included a control room, an office area, and locker rooms which required reinforcement of the structure above. The new equipment room was located on the second floor and included installation of a Siemens Access imaging system.
The project consisted of a three phased design-build OSHPD remodel and addition for the Radiation Oncology department. The project included extensive structural modifications to the existing building to accommodate the subgrade addition of three diagnostic treatment vaults for external beam therapy and MRI. To enable the expansion of the building, the project also included the analysis of existing utilities, redesign, and relocation to keep the existing facility operational. Cannon Building utilized 3D BIM modeling to assist the team in coordinating the utility reconfiguration.
Cannon Building provided a full scope of services including preconstruction planning and construction for this 26,800 SF project, working closely with the architects, consultants, and owner. Design, site improvements, base building construction, and tenant improvements were fast-tracked for expedited market release. The building included an entry porte-cochère, open three-story cylindrical lobby, a plaster exterior, and a mission tile roof.
This 10,480 SF project involved the remodel of the existing food services space for new kitchen equipment, cooking, cleaning, and inpatient services storage. The transformation converted the previous public food cafeteria into a new staff lounge and dietitian office space.
The project transformed the 15,740 SF North Wing from an administrative space into twenty-five new patient rooms, complete with nurse stations and core support areas. The upgrade included new HVAC and electrical systems to allow for the increase in demand.
