Tim J. Cannon
President

As president of Cannon Building, Tim’s field experience, combined with his leadership skills, makes him an expert on the various pre-planning and management aspects of the construction process. Tim is president and founder of Cannon Building. He is a member of ISPE, AIA, CFMA, and ASHRAE. He also actively participates in Vistage International, serves on the board of directors for Caritas, a non-profit 501(c), is a past president of ISPE LA, and serves on the board of directors of Balboa Yacht Club.

Atef Moussa
Chief Financial Officer

As CFO, Atef is responsible for managing Cannon Building’s financial and tax reporting, negotiating insurance and 401(k) plans, developing cash and banking relationships, establishing and maintaining effective project budget and cost controls, and overseeing the accounting department. He is a certified public accountant and has been working in the accounting profession for over 40 years. He has worked in the construction industry for over 30 years. In his free time, Atef enjoys volunteering at his church, spending time with his family, and managing real estate investments.

Eliot Hansen
Sr. Estimating Manager

As senior estimating manager, Eliot is responsible for overall project cost estimation. He frequently works with Cannon Building’s clients to develop conceptual estimates and implement value engineering techniques to meet client budgets. Eliot has worked with major firms in the Life Science, Healthcare, Commercial, and Institutional markets to estimate and develop their projects for over 40 years. He has also been an active volunteer with the Orange County Council of the Boy Scouts of America for more than 20 years.

Mike Lambrose
Preconstruction Manager

As preconstruction manager for Cannon Building, Mike is responsible for the support of clients, design teams, and construction teams. He manages constructability reviews, preliminary budgets, preliminary schedules, project phasing, and site logistics planning. Mike has over 20 years of experience running technical projects in Cannon Building’s core markets. Additionally, Mike enjoys spending time on the golf course with his wife and twin boys in his time off.

Lisa Oglesbee
Director of Operations

Lisa serves as lead of construction operations management, where she manages the coordination of Cannon Building’s field teams, master scheduling & training, EH&S, contract administration, and information technology. She began her career in computer science, but now has over 15 years of construction operations management experience. Lisa enjoys the collaborative environment of building teams and streamlining processes within Cannon Building. She also is an avid sports fan—in particular, she enjoys swimming, hockey, and baseball.

Kevin Thompson
Sr. Executive Manager -
San Diego

Kevin Thompson serves as senior executive manager for the San Diego territory. With over 30 years of experience in preconstruction and value analysis, he drives strategy and manages projects across the region. His diverse background includes managing complex construction processes as well as an in-depth knowledge of critical environments in FDA regulated manufacturing, healthcare, and research facilities. Kevin has worked and resided in San Diego for most of his career.

Hal Sherman
Business Development Manager - San Diego

As business development manager for Cannon Building’s San Diego Office, Hal is responsible for managing client relationships in the region. Before joining Cannon Building, Hal spent 30 years in the commercial real estate industry. He has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial real estate including marketing, leasing, property management, and construction. Hal loves to hike with his wife and is an avid supporter of youth lacrosse in San Diego.

Nolan Cannon
Sr. Project Manager - San Diego

As a senior project manager in Cannon Building’s San Diego Office, Nolan is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction. He is involved in estimating, preconstruction, project management and helps lead Cannon Building’s San Diego Team. Nolan’s background includes eight years of experience in the construction industry–four with Cannon Building and the remainder with two general contractors in the San Diego Area. In his spare time, Nolan enjoys fishing in the waters off San Diego and spending time on the water with his wife.

In the Community

Cannon Building supports the local community through a variety of outreach programs. We regularly serve Serra’s Pantry and Furnishing Hope as well as a variety of other organizations committed to fighting cancer and finding a cure for Alzheimer’s disease.
